Mental Health Week - Lecture: When life takes a tumble - on young people's distractions and how adults can make a difference

The lecture combines a strong, personal narrative with professional knowledge and concrete perspectives. Based on a “ONE OF US” story, you will get an honest insight into life with distrust - from a difficult childhood and adolescence to a life of better balance and well-being. It's a tale of vulnerability, shame, hope and the way back. The narrative is complemented by a professional angle, which among other things touches on:

• What signs of distrust should we as adults pay attention to?
• How does the performance culture of society affect the self-understanding of young people?
• What can we say and do when life hurts for our young?
• And how do we also take care of ourselves while taking care of others?

The lecture is for those who want to understand young people better and become more comfortable in how you can support them - even when life takes a tumble. It offers both recognition, hope and concrete tools you can take home.
